It took an unnamed ex-nanny to get Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis back together – only to dismiss said nanny’s new account of their breakup as a complete fabrication.

“As parents, it’s incredibly sad to learn that a former nanny of our two young children would choose to make such false and heinous accusations about us publicly,” the former couple said in a joint statement released by their publisher. “His 18-month campaign to harass us, our loved ones, close friends and colleagues has reached its unfortunate climax.”

The nanny, who agreed not to reveal her identity in an interview published Monday by the Daily Mail, allegedly worked for the couple for three years, caring for their son Otis, now 8, and daughter Daisy, who is now 6 years old.

In the second episode of the interview, which aired Tuesday, the nanny claimed that Wilde managed the Sudeikis for months after their breakup. and lead actor) Harry Styles went public in January 2021.

Sudeikis and Wilde’s statement continued: “We will now continue to focus on raising and protecting our children in the sincere hope that she will choose to leave our family alone.”

The couple ended their seven-year engagement at the beginning of 2020, according to People, who reported they broke up in November of the COVID-filled year. They had been dating since late 2011 and got engaged shortly after the 2012 vacation.

The nanny cast doubt on the timing of the couple’s separation when presented to the public, painting a picture of a distraught, heartbroken Sudeikis who was caught completely off guard by Wilde’s budding relationship with Styles – allegedly devastated to the point of reaching out ahead of the “Booksmart” director to keep the “Booksmart” director from leaving for a day. of his car

The nanny also noted that Wilde is leaving her children behind to pursue a relationship with the “Don’t Worry Darling” star who reportedly started dating in late 2020. This movie went into pre-production in May 2020 and began filming on October 19. same year. The former caregiver claimed that Wilde spoke to staff about her wedding to Sudeikis until October 2020.

In the first part of the interview, the nanny said that Wilde abruptly left Sudeikis on November 8, 2020. In the second episode, the nanny said that Sudeikis told her that Wilde had visited her, slept naked in the same bed as her, and sent her away. Between November and December, the nanny delivered voice and text messages of love until the “Ted Lasso” actor and the children left for London at the end of 2020.

Screenshots of alleged text messages sent from both Sudeikis and Wilde to the nanny and each other accompanied both parts of the interview.

A source told People about the split when it became public in mid-November 2020: “They were friendly and they moved on to a wonderful co-parenting routine. Children are the priority and heart of family relationships.”

Shortly thereafter, Sudeikis and Wilde were embroiled in a public custody battle that involved presenting an unfortunate legal document to Wilde while on stage discussing “Don’t Worry Darling” at CinemaCon last April.

Wilde denied leaving Sudeikis for Styles, citing the “full jumps—t” idea in a recent interview with Vanity Fair. “Our relationship was over long before I met Harry,” she said.

“I was caught off guard as I lived with them and was around them, and I didn’t see any of this happening,” the nanny told the Daily Mail. “To Olivia, ‘Jason told me you’re a very … someone.’ And he kind of rolled his eyes and looked the other way and said, ‘He’s just jealous of me.'”
